This 4-week flexible class is based off one of my ongoing classes.  The age range is 8-12, but if your child is younger or older than the range I’m fine with that.

NOTE - this class does not meet live, it is a flexible class, so lessons are pre-recorded.

I have picked four of the most popular watercolor projects from my ongoing class and made it flexible, so your child can watch and create on their own schedule.

Each week you will have access to my interactive google classroom.  Which will include for example, a demonstration of me guiding you through drawing the weeks picture, then performing different techniques and tips each week on using watercolors.

You’re encouraged to post your finished artwork, for the class to see and politely comment on and I will give you feedback.
Also, answers to any questions I’ve asked, or mini assignments I’ve given.

At the end of this flex course I send a certificate of completion if I’ve seen your artwork. 

The artwork and Activities :-

Week 1 ~ Watercolor Leaves (Oil pastel resist).

Week 2 ~ Sandcastle Beach Scene (mixing and color blending). Activity - a fun summer art game.

Week 3 ~ Swimming Seahorse (using bubble wrap), Activity - a barrier reef word search.

Week 4 ~ Monet’s Water Lily Resist (using Oil Pastels and liquid Watercolors), plus create your own watercolor paints.

Elements of art such as color, line, shape and texture will be introduced and practiced. Plus some of the techniques you will use are, oil pastel resist, creating your own liquid watercolors, color mixing and blending.
