Art with Miss Una: All Things Dinosaur, Art and Fun Facts #Creative (Flexible Class)!

In this flexible class you will learn about dinosaurs and do some really cool art.

Please note that this class does not meet live, it is a flexible class, so lessons are pre-recorded.

If your child is below or above the age range that’s fine just let me know when you sign up.  For younger children you may need to help them. 

Each week I will post my interactive classroom, which will include a slide show and information about "The Dinosaur of the Week" then an Art demonstration, so you can create dinosaur Art.

I will post one or two fun puzzles for you to do, on what you have learnt. 
Then you will interact with the rest of the class and myself to talk about what you’ve learnt. You can ask each other and me questions.  Plus post your artwork for the class to see and politely comment on and I will give you feedback.

Information on the dinosaurs, artwork and materials to have ready:

First week - Raptors, Learn fun facts about Velociraptors and create your own awesome raptor (white paper, pencil, black sharpie, crayons).

Second week - Brachiosaurus, Learn fun facts about the gentle giant and do a folk art dinosaur (white paper, pencil, black sharpie, watercolors, paint brush and water (alternatively crayons or colored pencils).

Third week - Dino babies, cute baby cracking out of it’s egg (white card stock, watercolor paper, pencil, black sharpie, scissors, watercolors (alternatively crayons or colored pencils).

Fourth week - T-Rex We can’t forget about the great Tyrannosaurus Rex, draw and color your own (colored or white paper, pencil, sharpie, something to color with).

Finished art work may be posted at any time and feedback will be provided. Participation is encouraged to ensure proper understanding of the materials and to promote a sense of community in class.
