Description
Class Experience
The goal of this class will be a chance to get to know friends our age, have fun creating an art project or craft together and share our creations. The goal is to also escape the crazy of the world with a craft project. Each class will have a different craft theme.
No homework! YAY! Share with your family your creations and see if you can teach them how to make it too!
A toilet paper roll for each class. Cardstock or Construction Paper (many colors-make sure you have white and black too). You may also color your paper to fit the colors you want! Coloring materials in case you need to color your paper. (i.e. markers, colored pencils, crayons, etc. Paint is optional and up to parents to monitor) Pencil Tape Glue (preferably not stick glue) Kid Safe Scissors (to cut cardstock, construction paper, yarn, toilet paper roll, etc.) White chalk or white marker. (I will be using a chalk marker from Michaels-this is just to make the craft look more like it should...anything white should work). Small round object to trace (a can, a cup, and any other object with circular bottoms-the more sizes the better) Tissue paper (different colors) Yarn (different colors) Embellishments (i.e. pom poms, stickers, beads, etc.) Hole Puncher (single preferably, but we can work with what you have) Bring anything that would be fun to use in a craft! You never know what we might do with it! =)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There is no assessment, just fun! I hope to assess the fun that was had through the smiles we see at the end of class.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is needed when use of craft materials would require supervision by an adult.
