Welcome to my art class! I am so excited you are here! Students will be able to sit back, relax, socialize and draw some awesome beginner's art! Every week, the teacher will introduce our new art piece of the day. This is a very "laid back" class where your child will be introduced to our weekly theme and will be given basic step by step directions on how to achieve and create their masterpiece. This class will have discussions, games and slides to help your child interact in our class. There is no required experience or knowledge to sign up for this class! It is a beginner's class! The teacher will have the following weekly themes: - Family drawing - Shapes and lines - Animals - More Animals -Winter Igloo - 100th day of school! - Colors -Fruits -Vegetables - Popcorn - St. Patrick's Day - Spring time -In like a lion out like a lamb - All About Me -April Showers bring May Flowers -Earth Day - Objects - Nature - Birthday drawing - Seasons - Food
Learning Goals
Students will be introduced and be given the opportunity to appreciate different colors and improve their drawing abilities.
