In this class we will be exploring different art medias and learning how they changed through different time periods.
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 5
Beginning each of our classes with introductions followed by an affirmation to set the tone for our learning environment we will then be utilizing researched slides and videos, we will then move onto introducing our learning objectives and key points of the lesson. Over the course of 4 weeks breaking down to 1 class per week at 1 hour, we will focus on art through different points of history while also highlighting different artists in that feild/media. Gain basic knowledge and understanding of Art History and different artists that were influential in the art world. Be introduced to and recognize vocabulary terms that are relevant to the topic
I hold 2 degrees. One in Africana/Black Studies and one in Social Sciences. I am currently enrolled in a masters program for African Studies with a minor in Education. I also homeschool my own children and create all of their history/social studies content.
An optional PDF will be provided for completion during/after the class.
