Description

Class Experience

In this 5 week flex course we will learn how to draw using 1 and 2 point perspective! I will be demonstrating the projects
and techniques in a series of step-by-step videos & slideshows posted at the beginning of every week.  

Week 1: What is Perspective? This week we will go over what perspective is and how artists use it to create realistic drawings.  In this assignment we will draw cubes using one point perspective. The final project this week will be writing your name in one point...

Students will learn how to draw in 1 and 2 point perspective!

None assigned.  All students work at their own pace and may need additional time to complete the drawing assignments.

1. Drawing paper- at least 10 pages
2. Ruler
3. Pencil
4. Thin permanent marker- I will be using a Sharpie Ultra Fine Point in demonstrations
5. Colored Pencils or marker set

The leaner will be assessed with informal feedback. Each week I will ask students "What are you most proud of in this week's work?" and "What would you work on/rework if you had time?".  Students are welcome to inquire for feedback on specific drawings.

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
