Students will learn… - Basic shapes and how to draw them - Practice following direction - Learn from mistakes - Create art and have fun! Each day we will draw a different sea creatures: Day 1: Hippo Day 2: Lion Day 3: Elephant Day 4: Giraffe Class structure: - Learners check in - Chat about the safari animal of the day - Draw along with step by step instruction - Color and add background to their drawing - Show and tell drawing During drawing time, learners are welcome to hold up their drawing to the camera for feedback or ask questions. Learners will be asked to raise their hand before speaking. For classes of more than 3 learners, everyone’s microphone will be muted during instruction to avoid background noise. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Miss Becky. Welcome to my studio where students don’t just learn a new art skill or hobby, but grow confident in themselves and their creativity!
PHILOSOPHY:
I strongly believe everyone is creative in some way and I enjoy helping my students to discover that! In my classes, students learn important lessons such as ‘don’t compare yourself to anyone but yourself’. And ‘there is no such thing as a mistake as long as you learn from it’. They learn they can do hard things, give themselves permission to take their time, and most of all - have fun! These motto’s help learners to gain confidence in themselves as they discover and grow their talents and creativity.
I am so excited to welcome your kiddo into my classes. Let me know if you have any questions and I hope to see your kiddo in my classroom!
