Description

Class Experience

Learners have the opportunity to be creative artists using drama and movement; courageous allies using empathy with characters; critical thinkers by interacting with peers and relating themes to their experiences; confident leaders by participating in the journey. Learn to love reading and the adventure that each story provides!
Lacey Cannon (She/Her) is an Arts Educator based in Central Texas. Since beginning with Creative Action in 2018, she has taught classes for students about Theatre, Improv, Story Telling, and Makeup Design. Lacey has served on the board of local theatre companies as Artistic Director and producer, been a contributing writer for BroadwayWorld Austin, and a second round screenplay finalist for the Austin Film Festival. When she’s not teaching, Lacey enjoys cooking, reading, and cuddling with her 12 yr. old cat, Binx.
Basic visual art materials including, but not limited to, paper and pencil, crayons or coloring pencils, and markers. 
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Help your learner participate by setting up their space with areas to draw, listen, and move.
