Do you like the look of plants but prefer one with zero maintenance? Then this is the perfect class for you! During this class students will practice their artistic skills by painting a rock cactus garden. Learners will have the option to choose from a few suggested designs or are welcome to do their own. We will go over the suggested designs and learn how to paint them step by step. We will learn different ways of painting realistic looking prickles on their rocks so that their cacti cannot be spotted as rocks at first sight. Learners will be encouraged to show off their designs with the rest of the class. **Please review class supply list

- Minimum 3 Large Smooth Rocks: previously painted in green - Acrylic Craft Paint: green, white and black - Paint Brushes - Sealer/Mod Podge - Aquarium Gravel (enough to fill most of the flower pot) - Flower Pot - Optional Small Fake Flowers - Cup of Water - Paper Towel

Hello, my name is Dee! I believe learning should be a positive experience and that is what I strive for in every one of my classes. I have a wide variety of topics I love teaching about - from arts and crafts, cooking and Spanish!
I was born in Mexico and moved to Canada when I was 12 years old. I usually try to visit Mexico once a year because I enjoy so many things about it, especially the food. I can also read, speak and write fluent Spanish. I have a diploma in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and I also hold a TESOL certificate.
When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my husband Mitch, and our two daughters, Victoria and Isabel. Fun fact: Victoria and Isabel have a 13 year age gap! We also have a sweet chihuahua named Bella. Our family enjoys doing a lot of activities together such as cooking, crafting, camping/hiking and planning our next travel adventure. We backpacked across Europe a few years ago and we are currently planning our next backpacking trip.
