What will be taught
Students learn how to celebrate colors and shapes. 
Students will learn to incorporate fruits and vegetables into their art to produce a portrait. 
Students learn how to uses simple items to create more complex forms in their art. 
Students learn to use a variety of creative coloring techniques when making the portrait. 
For example the use of crayons in pressure in different variations when outlining and creating new colors to add dimension to the drawings. 
Students discuss how they created their original artwork. The different media, techniques, their experience, what is the story behind the art work using different forms to communicate their idea of their work.
Students will learn through discussion, slides, and doc cam and zoom for student engagement. 
Great class for beginners, no knowledge of art is needed, just be creative.
Learning Goals
Students learn to be creative, learn to follow directions, learn to compare, and communicate their ideas of their art work. Students learn to use different forms of shapes  and lines to create artwork.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
Supply List
Paper for drawing, any kind of medium, such as crayons, markers, colored pencils.
