Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their ability to talk about their own artwork as well as give constructive feedback on peer artwork. Students will gain confidence in discussing themes and techniques specific to the art world. Students will be inspired to create a well rounded portfolio for the purpose of college application and/or personal growth.
No official homework, but students will be encouraged to create art outside of class and bring it with them to class to share.
Pencil and sketchbook or sketch paper.
Students will not be assessed, but I am willing to provide parents feedback as requested.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Some student artwork may have content that other parents are sensitive to, I want students to feel like this is a safe space to share their artwork, however I will do my best to encourage the content and discussion about the content maintain age appropriate and artistically relevant.
Resources are class dependent and will be posted in the classroom prior to the beginning of class.
