Description
Class Experience
I have experience working in a college-preparatory school where my students went on to be studio art, industrial design, architecture, engineering, medical, and science majors in college. In addition to teaching AP Studio Art, I advised students throughout the application journey even when art was not the intended major. Students are wise to demonstrate the breadth of their high school experience and the addition of a portfolio is an excellent way to achieve it. For the art majors, writing the artist statement is often the most difficult part of the process. We can help with that.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
