In this one-time class, students will use mixed media to create a giant wave in the ocean. *Bachelor's of Science Degree in Education *NJ State Certified K-6 Elementary Teacher *NJ State Certified K-12 Fine Arts Teacher *17 years teaching in a public elementary school *40+ years teaching and working with children *I have 2 daughters (ages 7 & 10)
1 file available upon enrollment*9”x12” white watercolor paper (Heavyweight is best) *A watercolor paint set (a set that includes light & dark blue) *1 small container filled with water *1 medium-size square-top paintbrush (I will be using a #12 brush) *a paper towel *A small container of white acrylic paint *Crayons *1 pencil *1 eraser
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
