Beginner Level
This course will consist of three classes, each focused on creating a unique piece of artwork. Throughout these sessions, we'll introduce new techniques in digital art, ensuring that by the end, your child will feel confident tackling any future masterpieces. We'll explore a variety of topics, including canvas creation, brush selection, layer management, and techniques for adding texture and dimension, as well as highlights and shadows. Additionally, we'll delve into color theory and develop new color palettes. I will guide the class by demonstrating each step on my iPad, providing a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience. Since I believe visual learning is the most effective, I want to ensure that students receive the same type of instruction. Questions are always welcome, and I want to create an atmosphere that is light-hearted and enjoyable, without any stress!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!!!! I am Ms. Sara. I am a professional photographer and artist and love to share my passion with new kiddos! I have been a professional photographer for 18+ years and have earned me "Certified Professional Photographer" degree / award from the PPA (Professional Photographers Association) I have been teaching photography for several years now. Since i have had to have an above knee amputation, it has made things a little harder to do photo shoots on uneven ground, so I have stepped back a little and decided to teach my love for photography. I have also been teaching art for several years now at local schools K-8 as well as teaching out of my home studio. My local kids know me as the "Robot leg Teacher" or the "Monopod Photographer". I welcome any little nick names or questions about my amputation. Especially from the kids. I would much rather them ask me and learn, then so be scared or uneasy around the next amputee they see.
