Learners will be able to find shapes within objects or pictures to help them create a drawing. They will also learn to use household items as a guide to create their drawings and sketches. Students will learn the differences among drawing, sketching, and shading. They will take their learning and apply it to a final individualized class drawing project.
I took art classes during my youth and decided that I wanted to continue creating art throughout my life. I use art in every subject I teach in addition to creating hundreds of pieces of art to sell. I have taught art classes and clubs virtually for the last 6 years to students between the ages of 7 and 17. I enjoy creating a variety of art and teaching others to love creating art.

In this ongoing class, we will be utilizing Padlet. Each student will have the option (not required) to upload a picture of their art only to this external resource. They may also type their first name only in the subject line of their art work if they choose to do so, but it is not required in order to participate. There is no need to create an account in order to use my teacher-created Padlet. This resource will only be utilized for this ongoing class and will not be shared with anyone outside of this class of learners. During this ongoing class, I will sometimes screen share the Padlet to show the art work of the learners. This Padlet will be teacher-moderated, which means that each picture will need to be approved by me prior to being posted to the Padlet to ensure the safety of all learners. Parental consent is required for your learner to use this resource in my ongoing class.
