Class Experience

Up-cycling is very important in my home. My children and I first discovered using hand painted paper to create collages, when we wanted to find a new purpose for all the paper we painted during our *baby and toddler learning through art time*. I hope learners feel inspired to up-cycle their own paintings in new and creative ways even after our lesson together.

Supply List: - paper (I recommend a slightly thicker white paper, like that found in sketchbooks) - paints (my favorite are Crayola, washable, non-toxic finger-paints) - paintbrushes (one for each color of paint) - various household toys and objects (for creating unique prints - I use bubble wrap, Duplos, wooded toys, etc. Be creative!) - children's scissors - an adult to supervise ^ _ ^
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
This is a two-part class. I hope to see each child's final work of art at the end of the lesson, but there will be no grade or assessment. Please message me with any and all questions. I hope each learner feels excited to use what they learn in class, to create their own works of art at home.
50 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
