Elements of art - Space, Organic Shapes, Contrast, Emphasis Color blending and mixing to create a variety of analogous colors Painting techniques in acrylic or tempera
I am a lifelong artist. All of my adult life I have been in the studio creating and sharing projects with others. Everything from scrapbooking, to lettering to painting and mixed media. Currently I own a mobile art studio in Northern California providing art classes to homeschool and local districts. Not only do I teach children but adults as well. I love to look at others artists work and how they have used the elements of art to create their art. I find it inspiring and like to challenge myself in using their way of creating or their thought process to learn new ways to create.
Heavy paper or canvas Acrylic Paint (Red, Blue, Yellow, White) Black Oil pastel or crayon
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
My goal is to inspire kids to look at other artist, seeing what and how they have used the elements of art and incoorporating it into thier own art piece. The process is a very important part of art, not necessarily the end product. Especially for younger artists.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
