Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Art Journaling is a great way to have fun with art and creativity.  
Students will be introduced to a variety of different art styles while exploring their own unique creativity.  Each class the Instructor will offer several options of the days Art Journal entry.
Students are encouraged to complete any Art Journal pages that were not finished during class time.
~Art Journaling is the fun of creating art with different supplies~ Depending on the Weekly Art Project students can use a variety of different materials. Students are encouraged to look around their homes for items to use. Art Journals will be made out of White Cardstock paper, something similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CMG43ZM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A3LV5PVR7AGSF7&psc=1 OR Students are encouraged to purchase a book similar this for their Art Journal Pages: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07M5RYS6X/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2778O5Y6D4UHO&psc=1 OR You can get 2-3 sheets of poster board and cut down to size: each sheet 8 1/2 x 11 OR You can use cardstock and put all pages into a folder. *****The goal is to be able to keep all art together in a book or folder.***** Items that will be used during each class: Scissors Ruler Sharpies of various colors Pencil Items that will be used on specific days: Markers Crayons Colored Pencils Tape Glue stick Liquid Glue Paper Items that will be used: Scrapbook paper Wrapping Paper Construction Paper Newspaper Cardstock Other items that could be used: Photographs Stickers Stamps Greeting cards Duct Tape Magazines
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
