Hi! I'm Alexis. I love making art. I love teaching art. I started teaching kids ceramics when I was in my teens and have since taught drawing, painting, English as a Foreign Language (EFL), and reading skills. My art classes are a great vehicle for building confidence, teaching history, and learning about zoology and botany. I care a great deal about the environment and have worked in wildlife rehabilitation and served as an educational docent in a sloth sanctuary. I have many pets including my cat, chickens, axolotls, a box turtle, and a crested gecko and even keep a variety of carnivorous plants. I'm always happy to bring one of my animals to class when we have time.
