3-day course to learn about artist Frida Kahlo's life, as we draw and paint her portrait while we practice our Spanish.

Class Experience

      During this 3 day Spanish Immersion course, students will be introduced to artist Frida Kahlo’s life and artistic work with emphasis on her self-portraits. Through out the lessons, we will discuss her symbolism, and learn about the events that impacted her life, gaining knowledge of her personal story. On the first lesson students will receive an overview of her life (interactive, they listen and sometimes I ask questions), followed by a step by step guide to draw her face with correct...

That they further develop their Spanish listening and speaking skills. 
That students develop their artistic and creative skills.
That students learn about artist Frida Kahlo’s life and develop awareness of her style.

I believe you learn the most by doing, especially when you enjoy what you do! In this class I combine subjects that are an essential part of my life: Art and Spanish. As an accomplished artist and a native Spanish speaker, with credentials and certifications, I feel I can help my students reach the desired goals successfully.
