Description

Class Experience

In this ongoing class we will learn about a different artist or period of art in history through in depth discussions each week. This is a non-project based class. Learners only need to bring their desire to learn.
The Facilitator will give a brief lecture about the artist and their life. Different works of art from the artist will be shown in class. Learners will be asked questions about the art, for example:  
What do you see?
What does the artwork make you think about?
What is the artist...

1. Learners will gain an appreciation for the arts.
2. Learners will be able to identify different works of art and the artist.
3. Learners will gain knowledge of different time periods.

I have my BFA from the School of Visual Arts. I have taught art history for over 10 years with local homeschool groups.

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Painting and sculptures will contain some nudity.
