Important Notes: All of my classes are inclusive. Classes are suitable for the neurodiverse child. CEFR: B1-B2 or above. In this one-time Art History class, Learner discovers how since prehistoric times music has been a meaningful aspect of our human experience, and how the themes of musical instruments and music itself have inspired visual artists and vice versa. Optional: Towards the end of the class, after understanding master artists' synesthesia between music & painting (Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Debussy, , Learner will be invited to listen to Debussy's Claire de Lune and "paint the music" in a totally spontaneous and personal manner. For this reason, students may want to have handy their art materials, such as drawing/painting paper, crayons, color pencils, watercolors, or any other media of their choice.
