Art History Movements: Cat Lover’s Edition!
Students will learn about some major art movements (1850 & on) by observing and comparing artwork featuring cats, and then draw or color a cat in their favorite style.

Description
Class Experience
Students will understand what an "art movement" is, and be able to identify the basic characteristics of Realism, Impressionism, Expressionism, Cubism, Surrealism, and Pop Art.
Learners should have a piece of blank paper and something to draw with. Coloring supplies are optional.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
