Description
Class Experience
This 4-week flexible class will include virtual tours of various galleries and museums (with permission, of course), interactive lessons and student-paced quizzes, polls and games. Students will learn about four important art movements of the 20th century. Each week, I will post a link to access a private Nearpod student-paced lesson and students will be assigned a project to complete during the week. I am a professional artist and have been teaching art history and fine arts classes locally, as well as on Outschool, for over 2 years. I love studying art and sharing my knowledge with young artists!
Optional arts & craft projects will require the following: Week 1 - paper, pencil, ruler, coloring supplies (markers, crayons, pastels, paint, etc). You may want to have a protractor and compass on hand. Week 3 - tracing paper, drawing paper, pencil, paper clips or tape, and scissors. Week 4 - Sculpey air-dry clay or any clay you prefer (can be any color, but white can be painted any color once it is dry), toothpicks (optional), wax paper (optional), googly-eyes (optional).
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
