Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 12
Important Notes: All of my classes are inclusive. Classes are suitable for the neurodiverse child.
CEFR: B1-B2 or above.

This class introduces Learner to an artist considered to be one of the most influential female artists today: Yayoi Kusama from Japan. Learner will journey through both, her personal life and creative works, with explanations regarding her cultural and historical context.

Class is structured with a welcome and introduction time; the slide presentation invites engagement in the form of questions, comments, discussions.

Class is taught in an inclusive, interactive way, in an environment that celebrates curiosity, and experiences learning as a fascinating, enriching, and kindness infused opportunity. Class size is kept small so Learner feels welcome to engage in the process.

For these reasons, and for gauging Learner's interest level being able to adjust accordingly, I require open mics and video in my classes so there is a sense of community and engagement with the material. In our mindful, semi-private class, Learner is asked to raise a hand when wishing to participate as this encourages grounding, patience and deep listening skills bringing with itself a myriad of benefits.

Class includes information from reputable primary sources making the material come to life in a meaningful way.

No previous experience is required.
