These classes combine art appreciation and art making for young learners that is developmentally appropriate. Students will learn about famous artists. Students will learn about different periods of Art History. Students will recreate art pieces and enhance their drawing and painting skills.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in History. I have a teaching credential in Art and a Masters in Education.
No homework but students may want to spend a few minutes after class finishing up.
- Thicker white paper or watercolor paper - Pencil with eraser - pencil sharpener - ruler - Black permanent Sharpie marker (must be a permanent marker) ultra fine tip and fine tip - Oil pastels and/or crayons - Watercolor set - A variety of paint brushes - cup for water - Paper towel
