In this four day camp, learners dig up history as they journey through ancient Egypt! Through fun, engaging art projects, students immerse themselves in the art, history, and culture of this ancient civilization.

Description

Class Experience

Learners will be introduced to the history of ancient Egypt through hands-on art projects, materials, and artistic techniques.
Students may need additional time outside of class to continue working on any unfinished artwork.
This is a suggested art supply list, however learners are welcome to use whatever art materials they have available. 1) Paper: watercolor, cardstock, or mixed media (any of these will work, as long as it's durable to sustain paint) and a few pieces of construction paper 2) Pencil, eraser, scissors and a glue stick 3) Paint: Crayola (non - toxic) acrylics Watercolors Paint brushes 4) Colored pencils, and oil pastels or crayons
Students will have the option to share their work with others. (optional)
2 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
