Class Experience

This class has many unique games that kids enjoy. We will socialize and learn through creative thinking. I have tested most of these games with other students in my classes and they always seem to have a blast! That is why I thought to make a separate class with games and activities that teach in a fun and interactive way. The detailed information for each week is listed below.

Week 1-

Pictionary: Each player draws a simple drawing and the other players/player have to guess what they have drawn. This makes the students’ minds think originally. They will also get feedback on their drawings to improve further creations.

Week 2-

Prompt per Picture: I will give the students a random prompt or word and they have to create a unique picture using the prompt given. This game helps them have fun sketching with funny prompts. They can share their artwork with other students as well.

Week 3-

Art Trivia: I will ask art-related questions to the students. There will be an easy and hard level and they can choose one that they think will fit their level. This tests their knowledge on artists, different techniques, and supplies used in art.

Week 4-

Create a Creature Challenge: In this lesson, we will pick two random animals and merge them into one special creature. The students’ can pick their own special colors, features, and animals to create. At the end of the class, they will pick a name for their newly invented creature.

These are the only weeks listed right now but stay tuned for more detailed games for the weeks coming! I hope I see your learner in my class soon!

Hello and Welcome Outschoolars! I’m Mrs.D. ! I appreciate you considering me to be a part of your young artist's art journey!

I teach various art classes that involve color theories, color wheels, and color schemes that work together to create human figures, landscaping, and canvas painting with easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions. I love to teach different styles and techniques of art using Art Theory.

I am an artist by profession. I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. I have participated in many art exhibitions in my public art center and library and taught art, crafts, and card making in elementary schools and Girl Scouts as a volunteer. I love to share art with my community.

I have been teaching 1:1 art classes online and in person for the last 5 years to ages 4 to 14 years. I have instructed children online all around the world, and continue to teach local classes and workshops in my community. I am so happy to continue what I am doing on a bigger and better platform from the comfort of my home.

I like to teach Art Theory in most of my projects so kids will learn multiple things without even realizing it. I believe all students can learn, and art is the best way to express yourself and your feelings in your unique way.

Art helps to improve hand and eye coordination. It also helps to grow your concentration and patience. Sometimes young minds can't express themselves through talking, but through drawing. I love connecting with students through art and helping them grow, laugh, and have some fun!

Class Expectation: Everyone works at different speeds. If the child is not finished with the piece by the end of class, they can finish the remaining picture at home and post it in the classroom.

Join me on this incredible adventure to take your child’s passion to the next level.

Thank you for visiting my profile! I’m looking forward to being a part of your child's art journey, growth, and success; can’t wait to see you in class!
