The student will need a hardcover book (new or used) with at least 250 to 300 pages and thin florist wire to create a hanger for the book. I suggest going to a store like the Dollar Tree where you can purchase a hardcover book for $1.25. You can also purchase the florist wire for hanging the project at the Dollar Tree. Other sources might be your own bookshelves, thrift stores or used book stores. Optional materials: glue, scissors and colorful paper to decorate the inside cover of the book.
