Feedback will be given to the students throughout the class as we work on the lesson and projects together.Class Experience
This class is designed to support a student’s exploration of their creativity while also teaching them the basics of art. This will be done by switching between two classroom subjects: the basics of art and the students’ chosen topic. These topics can be anything art related and examples of what has been requested by students thus far includes: caricatures, foxes, portraits, 3D letters and making a vtuber model (3D anime character used by youtubers). I want to enable the learners to grow as artists and encourage them to love what they’re doing. An example the schedule and lesson topics can be found below. That being said, please be aware that this schedule is flexible. If the students want to spend an extra week on a topic then we will do just that. That being said, each week will function as a stand alone class so that new students can jump in at any time. I will choose one or more of the lesson goals listed in each week--this choice of selection allows me to match the student's art abilities. No background knowledge is required for this class.
