Lesson 1
Composition
General Composition! Students will explore what makes a great image! Learners will examine different types of compositions they could use- Rule of Thirds, Leading Lines, Rule of Odds, Triangle Composition, Points of View and Framing.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Artist Inspired
Each lesson students will be encouraged to shoot 50 photos with the outcome of 5 successful photographs. This creates the habit of shooting many images so that students have choices. Each lesson will focus on a new prompt or artistic challenge. Prompts are to make students think and look at the world around them. Prompts are very open ended so that students can focus and explore photography that interests them. Students can create images in color or black and white.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Emotion
Each lesson students will be encouraged to shoot 50 photos with the outcome of 5 successful photographs. This creates the habit of shooting many images so that students have choices. Each lesson will focus on a new prompt or artistic challenge. Prompts are to make students think and look at the world around them. Prompts are very open ended so that students can focus and explore photography that interests them. Students can create images in color or black and white.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Photojournalism
