Class Experience
In this small and relaxed 3 day class students will create a field of flowers in a light and whimsical style using watercolor and line drawing techniques. Days 1 & 2 students will spend the first few minutes of class observing flower photography images and modern painter styles that will inspire their work. Then, they will learn watercolor techniques to create the colorful background for our artworks. As paintings dry each day, students will use drawing exercises and contour line drawing...
Stephanie is an artist, k-12 art educator and arts in healthcare professional who enjoys using gardening, drawing and watercolor painting. Stephanie uses these same techniques in her personal self care art making practices to create beautiful, loose watercolor florals in her journals.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents, please note this class teaches a loose, very relaxed style of drawing and painting focused on line quality and color. This is not an observational drawing class.
