Class Experience
Students will explore drawing, watercolor, mixed media and acrylic painting. Students will explore different mediums. Students will learn art vocabulary. Students will learn art techniques.
I have a teaching credential in Art and a Masters in Education.
No homework but students may want to spend a few extra minutes putting finishing touches on their art projects.
Supplies: white paper pencil eraser something to color with such as crayons, markers, or colored pencils watercolor paper watercolor paints acrylic paints canvas or canvas paper paint brushes ruler black sharpie or permanent marker Optional: Chalk Pastels Oil Pastels
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Informal Assessment of Art pieces.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
*I will be embedding Youtube videos throughout the course (all my own videos created specifically for this class.) Outschool embeds the link on its platform so that learners remain on the Outschool platform and don’t access the YouTube website. *Acrylic paint does not come off of clothing so you may want to provide an oversized t-shirt or a smock for your learner to wear.
