Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their knowledge of  24 literary terms. 
Students will learn to accept their own imperfection. 
Students will apply knowledge of literary terms to create short writings. 
Students will improve the their knowledge of planning and drafting. 
Students will use their mind's eye visualization technique to remove pressure and anxiety and to further enhance planning and drafting process.
I have been a middle and high school English Language Arts teacher for 15 years. I have also coached teams for Odyssey of the Mind and Lego First Robotics. I am very comfortable teaching students of varying backgrounds and abilities. I have two boys ages 9 and 11 who have severe ADHD. 
pencil tempera or acrylic paints from the dollar store paper plate to put paints on and for blending poster boards from dollar store to cut in quarters for painting index cards (white and lined) from dollar store for writing paint brushes maybe 2 brushes plastic knife for cutting away paint mistakes paper towel for drying off brush water cup of some sort for washing brush plastic bag to cover work area old dedicated art shirt to wear so you do not get messy
Immediate verbal feedback and guidance is given throughout each meeting.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
