Description
Class Experience
How to start drawing things in the ocean such as sea creatures and plant life using simple shapes and lines.
Not Applicable.
Homework will be to practice their new drawing skills in their sketchbook by drawing things in or around their house; family members, pets, plants.
Sketchbook (Multi Media preferred if students plan on attending the full Sketchbooking Course in the future). Pencils and Colored Pencils. Pencil Sharpener. Eraser.
Art is subjective. Assessment is based on the learners pride and accomplishment at trying the new skill learned. Children will draw at their own pace according to their own capabilities. In Art there is no good or bad, right or wrong. It's more important for children to express themselves, their ideas, and their individuality.
