Parental Guidance
In this class, students will be using scissors, glue, and other crafting materials to create pop-up cards. While we make every effort to ensure a safe crafting environment, please be aware of the following:
Scissors: Students will be working with scissors, which can be sharp. We encourage parents to supervise younger students or provide child-safe scissors if necessary.
Glue and Adhesives: We will be using glue sticks or liquid glue. Please ensure students understand how to handle glue properly to avoid messes or skin irritation.
Supply List
Students will need the following materials for each class. Please ensure your child has these items ready before class begins. - Colored Paper (several sheets in various colors): For creating the base of the card and pop-up elements. Recommended: cardstock, heavier weight paper, or scrapbook paper - Scissors: Child-safe scissors are encouraged for younger students. - Glue: A glue stick or liquid glue for attaching paper elements. - Drawing materials of choice: Markers, crayons, color pencils, etc. to add decorations to their page. - A workspace such as a desk or table to keep crafting materials organized and prevent glue from getting on surfaces.
