Description
Class Experience
In this lesson, students will be able to create a sun and moon with paint, markers, or colored pencils and I will be discussing the difference between warm and cool colors. I will first do a directed draw of the sun and moon while students follow along and then students will be able to color or paint their drawing using warm and cool colors. There is so much flexibility with this lesson and learners can get as creative as they would like! Each student learns at their own pace and I do...
Students will improve their understanding of the warm and cool colors. They will also improve their understanding of the elements of art, specifically line, form, and color.
Students are encouraged to have thick, white paper, watercolors, a paintbrush, and a small cup of water. If paint is not available, markers, crayons, or colored pencils will work just fine.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
