This class is for students who like art and are starting with oil pastels.

Students will learn about the do's and don'ts of oil pastel paintings and blending techniques using tissue paper and q- tips. These will be revised on every class for newcomers.  
Students will create a beautiful art scenery after a little practice on some rough sheets. 

Lesson 1 : Sunset landscape - students will learn how to create mersmerizing sunset hues with blending oil pastels. This is a silhouette artwork. 
Lesson 2 : Ship landscape - students will practice shading of water and effects of soft waves. They will work on a ship model for this landscape. 
Lesson 3 : Midnight landscape - students will understand the blends of shades for night , using the white ink pen for highlights, moon and stars. 
Lesson 4: Mountain landscape - students will understand the strokes for shading a mountain and work on techniques for tress and foliage with pastels
Lesson 5 : Student choice /freestyle 

The materials in the list are important to ensure the child is able to create good scenery. 

The class will give them a fair idea of how to create sceneries using oil pastels and their imagination.

Parents please note - The class might extend 10 - 15 minutes depending on the pace of your child and so please keep in mind that even though this is a 50 minute class, it might take an hour if the children are taking time to complete the artwork.
