Description
Class Experience
In this class learners will create a cool winter cat drawing! We will learn about and demonstrate "cool" colors on the color wheel. This is a hands on class where students will be creating the project as I demonstrate. I will be doing a guided drawing of the animal. Students can choose what kind of background for their image. I will show students several examples to help with the brainstorming process! No prior knowledge is needed. Students have the choice of media-markers or color...
This class is taught in English.
Students will create a winter cat drawing!
If students do not complete their drawing in the allotted class time they may choose to complete on their own time. I will be showing examples of how to finish their drawing.
1. Drawing paper: 8.5x11 printer paper is fine 2. Black Marker 3. Chosen art media: students can use markers or color pencils to finish their work
Informal assessment- at the end of the class students will be asked to share their final project with the class. I will ask students "What are you most proud of?" and "What would you work on if you had more time?"
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
