This 3 day art camp experience will keep kids ages 6-9 super engaged as we brainstorm and use our imaginations to create wild and crazy monsters, robots and aliens!
Class experience
In this 3 day, fun and engaging art camp style class kids build creative thinking, collaborative and social skills. Each day we will work together to brainstorm ideas together for imaginary creatures that will keep us all laughing! Students will participate in group discussions then use the ideas generated to inspire their own unique creations. Day 1 will be inspired by Greg Mike's character, Larry Loudmouth. Students will engage with teacher and one another to brainstorm and discuss ideas for artwork. Students will gain collage, printmaking and drawing skills. Students explore the art of contemporary muralists.
Stephanie is a k-12 art educator, artist and arts in healthcare professional. As a Mom to 3 teen boys, she's been around robots, monsters and aliens for quite a long time! Stephanie has a unique interest in street art and has personally met, spent time with and follows the careers of the artists referred to in this class.
