Students will learn about shapes and how to create pieces of art by using shapes. Students will create Darth Vader from Star Wars. Learners will use various shapes in a directed drawing teaching style (Step by Step process) from the teacher. Students will create details that make their work unique and then use colored pencils, crayons, or markers to color in their pictures. I have been teaching for 17 years, I have a passion for music and art and love to teach it to beginning students. Music and art opens so many possibilities and art is so easy to do if you have the write tools of shapes. You can learn something one day and be able to use it right away. I teach PreK-5th grade general music and art, This includes learning art and music history and basic knowledge to build upon.
