ART CAMP: Draw Five Beautiful Birds

Week 1Lesson 1HummingbirdsWe will examine the shapes and colors of hummingbirds, practice those shapes, and draw a hummingbird, finishing it up with black Sharpies, colored pencils, and if the student chooses, watercolor paint.Lesson 2PeacocksWe will examine the shapes and colors of peacock tail feathers, practice those shapes, and draw a peacock. We will finish it using black Sharpies, colored pencils, and markers (optional).Lesson 5CardinalsWe will examine the shapes and colors of cardinals, practice those shapes, and draw a cardinal, finishing it up with black Sharpies, colored pencils, and if the student chooses for the background, watercolor paint.
