A great way to spend your summer vacation, this four-day summer camp will teach students how to make 4 fun bird artworks: a flamingo, a parrot, a peacock and a cockatoo. Perfect for bird lovers, animal lovers and art lovers!

Class experience

-Students will be able to use basic shapes to draw a picture. This is a skill they can apply to other drawings as well.
-Students will be able to use introductory watercolor techniques to add color and personality to their artwork.
I have taught elementary art for over 16 years and each of my lessons is developed thoughtfully and practiced ahead of time, keeping in mind student skill level and interests. I am passionate about helping young artists find their unique artistic voices and therefore balance guided drawing with creative expression in this lesson. I provide positive encouragement to students throughout our class time and hope they enjoy this project as much as I do.
