Prior to taking the class, students are encouraged to peruse online image search results for "underwater ocean life". This course will focus on drawing fish, coral, sharks, whales, dolphins, seahorses, sea shells, turtles, octopus, squid, axolotl, etc. Creatures will be determined by learners. The goal will be to draw two sea creatures per session, in each of the first three weeks. During the fourth and final session, all creatures will be combined to create one underwater ocean scene. Week 1: Jellyfish and Star Fish Week 2: Sea Turtle Week 3: Sharks, Whales, and Dolphins Week 4: Entire underwater scene including sea plants, shells, and coral. Online field-trips to google-image search results will be shared to show different creatures and their environments. Students are encouraged to share their experiences with sea life, whether that's from visiting a beach, and aquarium or documentary. Learners are shown how to draw each creature modifying basic shapes.

Supply List
Students will need a pencil with an eraser; 5-10 pieces of regular printer paper (or a notebook, or sketchbook); coloring utensils, including black (crayons, markers, or colored pencils, paint with parental supervision/approval); imagination and desire to create!
