Class Experience
In a Flex class, there are no live meetings. This means your child will receive pre-recorded video classes they can watch and draw at their own pace on whatever schedule works best! HOW IT WORKS: Each Monday, I will post the week's video in the classroom and it will be available for the duration of the Flex session. Students may work on their drawing using this recording as their schedule allows! On Wednesdays, students will also be given a question or prompt to respond to in the classroom...
Students will learn various drawing techniques, such as drawing from shapes, pencil pressure, shading, showing 3 dimensionality, proportion and scale, symmetry, negative space, composition, and more!
This class really benefits students best when there is a lot of classroom participation. Please help your learner to: 1. Submit a photo of their work weekly, by Friday if possible. 2. Via a video or written comments, provide an explanation of their work or process. 3. View other's pictures and write comments/kind reactions for learners to see. 4. Respond to other learner's comments and feedback about their own work. 5. On Wednesdays, check for and respond to weekly teacher questions/prompts and read and respond to other learners responses.
