Class Experience

This beginners clay class is a great starter class for children to be introduced to clay. We use Crayola Air Dry clay so their owls dry without a kiln! Over 60 minutes, children will learn how to work with air dry clay, form a pinch pot, how to securely attach parts, make impressions using household tools, and create adorable little owls to use as flower pots, pencil holders, etc. Class will be mostly unmuted so that we can converse while we work. This class is taught in English.

Crayola Air-Dry Clay 2.5lbs or more
Clay tools or household options, popsicle stick, toothpick, plastic butter knife, marker caps, etc.
Small water bowl

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
