Class Experience
Art Around the World Learn about artwork from various countries and create some art of your own! In this ongoing class, students will learn about a style of art, an artist, or a group of artists that come from different countries around the world. This will be done largely though a slide show while asking students about what they see. During this portion of the class, each learner is given an opportunity to talk. We will be sure to cover countries from each continent. There are currently 30...
Students will learn about art of various cultures and gain exposure to different types of artwork. Students will continue to develop skills in artistic expression, and artistic decision making. Students will gain skills in different art mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and collage.
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
Students may need time outside of class to finish their artwork.
