Description
Class Experience
In this class, learners will be given a choice of prompts. Leaners can choose one prompt from the list over which to create a work of visual art or writing. Learners will be given a chance to share their creations with the class. This type of exercise is good for encouraging creativity and boosting self-esteem. I will teach this class by providing a list of prompts via a PowerPoint slide. The students will make their choice and begin creating. Learners can choose to draw, paint, sculpt,...
Students will learn to express their creativity through pre-selected prompts.
Students will need to bring whatever supplies they need to create their projects. Painters will need to bring a canvas or paper, paints, and brushes. Writers will need to bring paper and a pencil or pen or an electronic device on which to type their work. Students who draw will need to bring drawing supplies and paper. Sculptors or crafters will need to bring what they require to create their work of art.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
