White paper (the heavier the better) Colored construction paper, pencil and eraser, black marker (sharpie is preferred), watercolors, paintbrush, water cup, markers, crayons or oil pastels, glue stick, and scissors. I adapt all lessons to whatever the student has so this is merely a recommended supply list. However, they will always need at least paper, pencil and eraser, and color makers.
Students will be asked to use scissors to cut paper. Students will use glue. When these tools are used, we will go over proper use and safety guidelines at the beginning of class.
We will read and create art from the following books:
(the week of 11/7) Today I Feel Silly
(the week of 11/14) Princesses Wear Pants
(the week of 11/28) Charlie the Ranch Dog
(the week of 12/5) Tiny T-Rex
(the week of 12/19) Uni the Unicorn
(the week of 12/26) Peanut Butter and Jellyfish
(the week of 1/2) Mushroom Lullaby
(the week of 1/9) I Can't Draw
