Class Experience

In this multi-week course learners will have fun creating learning the fundamentals of art and design.

This class is great for any student who wants to learn the basics of art and graphic design. Each week students will be assigned an artist brief to design a piece for a fictional business or brand. Each brief will focus on one area of art and design such as line, shape, color, space, balance, and texture. After introducing students to the brief, the teacher will provide a short lesson on...

Students will improve their understanding of art and design principles. Students will strengthen their creativity and critical thinking skills.

As an artist, I have experience in a variety of artistic fields. I have a background in coding and web design. Most recently, I've ran a successful photography business for four years, while also designing and selling stickers on Etsy. I enjoy all art mediums and spend much of my free time exploring ways of expressing myself with watercolors, pencil/paper, digital design and traditional painting.
